de Petronio. Incluye también la edición que Salas hizo del texto petroniano. Para valorar las aportaciones textuales como editor de Petronio, se ha comparado su texto con otras ediciones anteriores (Richardus, Wouwerius, Erhardus, Bourdelotius) y con la edición posterior del otro editor español de Petronio, Manuel C. Díaz y Díaz. Para valorar sus Commenta
se ha hecho una clasificación temática de los mismos y se han comparado con todos los Comentarios de Petronio hasta 1709, según la recopilación hecha por Burmannus.
Abstract
A study and evaluation of González de Salas’s Commenta
on the Satyricon
by Petronius. It also includes Salas’s edition of the Petronian text. In order to evaluate his contributions to the text as Petronius’s editor, the text has been compared to earlier editions (Richardus, Wouwerius, Erhardus, Bourdelotius) and to the subsequent edition by the other Spanish editor of Petronius, Manuel C. Díaz y Díaz. In order to evaluate his Commenta,
they have been classified by topic and compared with all the Commentaries on Petronius up until 1709, according to the compilation by Burmannus.
